  • 1 brown onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 carrot

  • 2 sticks celery

  • 1 red capsicum

  • 200g mushrooms

  • ¾ cup stock or 1 stock cube or 1 teaspoon stock paste

  • 1 tin diced tomatoes

  • 1 tin lentils

  • 1 tablespoon Italian herbs

  • 350g pasta of choice
