Lamb Shank Stew

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 brown onion

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 2 sticks celery

  • 2 carrots

  • 1 tin tomatoes

  • 2 teaspoons thyme

  • 1 stock cube or 1 teaspoon stock powder

  • 4 bay leaves

  • 4 lamb shanks

Extra

Add on:


2 cups uncooked brown or white rice (makes 4-5 cups cooked)

  • chopping board

  • wooden/large spoon

  • container to put the family sized meal in
