Butter Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 brown onion

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 3cm ginger

  • 100g butter

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • 1 tsp ground paprika

  • 2 tsp garam masala

  • 1 tsp ground cardamom

  • 1 tsp ground coriander

  • 1 tsp ground cumin

  • 1 tsp ground turmeric

  • 1 tin coconut cream (400ml)

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • 200g tomato paste

  • 1 kg chicken thigh

  • 1 broccoli

  • 2 carrots

  • 1 zucchini

Extra

Add on:


2 cups uncooked brown or white rice (makes 4-5 cups cooked)

  • 1 medium sized bowl

  • juicer for lemon

  • 1 teaspoon

  • measuring scales

  • knife

  • chopping board

  • wooden/large spoon

  • container to put the family sized meal in
